A vacancy as arisen for an CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CIPFA qualified Management Accountant for an organisation in Grimsby. The role, reporting into the Head of Finance, promises to be challenging, busy and will require excellent communication and relationship building skills.


THE ROLE

-Reporting to the Head of Finance the successful candidate will provide to the senior finance team to ensure that the finances are managed effectively and efficiently
-Requiring broad based skills, the management accountant will prepare accurate monthly management accounts, take responsibility for the key accounts within trial balance and reconcile these with the reporting timetable
-Supervision of a small accounts team will form part of the role, as will ensuring their continuous professional development and wellbeing
-Involvement with the procurement team will be required to mitigate supplier risks and to ensure not just quality but best value for money

THE CANDIDATE

-You are a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CIPFA qualified accountant with good management accounting skills, excellent attention to detail and a high standard of systems literacy
-An experienced relationship builder you have first class interpersonal skills and a demonstrable track record of working in a team, delivering financial results on time to deadline with accuracy and efficiency.
-There could be an element of travel in the position therefore the successful applicant needs to be a driver with own transport

-Our client is based close to the centre of Grimsby with good road access to the A180, A15 and Humber Bridge.
