Management Accountant

My client has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join the Finance Team due to expansion. Description An excellent Management Accountant must have an exceptional mathematical mind combined with a strong business orientation. The successful candidate must be able to assume responsibility of cost accounting tasks and be both a strategist and a decision maker. KEY TASKS WILL BE TO: Record financial transactions for project, department, or companyPrepare financial statements for internal and external useReconcile spending with budget as part of job costingAnalyse financial performance and forecast longer term horizonsRecommend methods and strategies for cutting costMaintain records and support auditing effortsAdvise company and/or department management on financial decisionsMake upper-level strategy recommendations based on financialsAny other ad hoc duties Profile The ideal candidate will have: Knowledge of accounting terms and conceptsUnderstanding of finance regulations and legislationKnowledge of business strategy and methodologyAnalytical skillsCritical thinking skillsOrganisational skillsStrong attention to detailStrategic thinkingExperience of working in a Multinational Company5 years + experience in a related fieldRelevant certification (e.g. CIMA, ACA or ACCA) will be preferred Job Offer Generous holiday allowance - 25 days per year plus bank holidaysParking on siteEarly Friday finishExcellent opportunities for progression
