Systems Management Accountant

Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Systems Management Accountant.The Company is a leading mid tier law firm with operations in the UK and mainland Europe.With an enviable client base across a diverse range of businesses that includes multinationals, public and private companies, partnerships and public sector organisations.The Role is a newly created and a senior appointment reporting to the Finance Director. Primarily responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and development of a new Practice Management System - guiding,advising and acting as the first point of contact internally for all financial systems related queries. A super user leading best practices in the use of the system to ensure information is captured and reported accurately. As the senior management accountant duties will involve budget preparation, variance analysis, Billings, assist with the timely management accounts preparation,Cashflow forecasts,VAT returns and International Analysis Balance sheet reconciliations, Cost and revenue analysis and a range of systems/Analysis projectsPlanning, designing and delivering various suitability tests/reports of the new PMS, including Data Validation and User Acceptance Testing, Working closely with the Business Systems Project Accountant.The person will have ideally held a similar position in a law firm, and will have previous PMS experience within a legal environment. Potentially qualified ACCA/CIMA but with outstanding system/project skill does not necessarily have to be qualifiedA confident outgoing individual with strong business partnering skills to lead the firm with all financial systems related issues recommending and challenging how the systems will drive efficiency's and maximise profit.Advanced Excel skills useful,
