Accounts & Tax Manager

A highly successful accountants, based in Hampshire, undergoing sustained growth and expansion, is searching for a qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA, or suitably experienced, Accounts & Tax Manager to join the firm, in a role offering significant progression and genuine development potential. Client Details Based in Exeter, this fast growth business has achieved considerable success and growth over several years, diversifying its business arms to provide a wide spectrum of added value services to a high quality, interesting client base. This consists of wide ranging OMBs and SMEs, across varying industries and turnovers and their directors with associated accounting and tax requirements, looking for a quality compliance and advisory, planning and proactive service. Alongside this the firm acts for a wide variety of individuals with varying and complex accounts and tax requirements, to include a good number of HNWIs. Given the growth in the firm and planning for the future, progression is on offer as well. Description Joining the firm as an Accounts & Tax Manager, based out of the firms Hampshire offices you will take responsibility for managing the full provision of varied, accounting and tax services to your own portfolio of clients. As well as managing the provision of compliance accounts, tax and general practice services to your clients, in both a hands on (complex cases) and review role you will also really focus on offering wide ranging accounting and tax advisory work to the client base, across accounting and both personal and corporate tax related projects. With a more linear, flatter structure you will benefit from significant client contact and ownership of a portfolio and chance to build relationships and really look at add value to clients, identifying areas for advice and planning across the range of accounting and personal/corporate tax advice. You will work on ad hoc project work across wider teams as well and build relationships internally. Profile For this Accounts & Tax Manager role, you will be any of ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT qualified, or significantly experienced, with career background in accountancy practice, at Managerial levels, or thereabouts with client and portfolio management responsibility. You will have the all-round skills across any, or all of, audit, accounts and tax, with demonstrable advisory experience for SMEs and OMBs and wide ranging individuals.You will be looking for a challenging, long term permanent career move where you can see a career path beyond management. Job Offer Circa £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable, plus benefits.
