ALL ABOUT THE ROLE…
In what is a newly created role, you will have a wide remit to own the month end process and drive and develop the finance function's commercial reach within the business.
You will be responsible for:
Full production of the monthly Management Accounts including commentary and analysis
Working on various management accounting projects
Business partner to directors and wider business
Accruals and Prepayments
Margin Analysis for P&L's
Analysis of accounts and management reports
Chasing outstanding payments to agreed timescales
Aged debt reporting- Allocating payments to accounts
Investigating issues through talking with various other departments
Exposure to cash flow forecasts and budgets
WHO THE CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR…
You will be a fully Qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA/ACA or currently studying towards a professional qualification.
A pro-active individual with demonstrable commercial awareness and experience of working cross functionally.
Ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external to the business.
Due to the amount of analysis in the role an advanced working knowledge of excel is a must
Salary on offer: £33,000 + Benefits.
