Finance Manager

Robert Half Cambridge are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to be based just south Cambridge

As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for a team of Finance Analysts, ensuring your team manages P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations within appropriate deadlines. Responsibilities include recruitment, training and development of staff, leading, mentoring and coaching, assessing the team's workload and allocating work accordingly.

The role of Finance Manager will include but not be limited to:

• This role requires cross functional collaboration across the business
• Working within the month end close schedule, ensuring timely & accurate postings into the monthly financial statements
• Assisting with both internal & external audit requirements
• This role involves line management responsibilities including the day to day direction of staff, recruitment of new staff, training and development of your team and performance management

Qualification, knowledge and key skills:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX highly advantageous
• Must be ambitious, commercially aware and unafraid of a challenge.
• Must be comfortable working across all levels of business lines consisting of Commercial, Corporate and Research Operations
• Highly organised, capable of managing own workload to tight deadlines

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment where there is a need to master a technical landscape that is continually changing.

In return my client will be offering a salary of up to 55k plus benefits
