Job role
Take ownership and contribute to the outcome of Macquarie's business activities.

Group Treasury has an opportunity for you to join as an enthusiastic and driven Manager to focus on funds transfer pricing (FTP) within the funding team. Working in a high-calibre environment, you will assist with determining the appropriate price of funding provided to each of Macquarie's diverse businesses and managing the costs associated with a pool of funding in excess of $100 billion. You will be exposed to the inner workings of an internationally active financial conglomerate group and help to provide funding recommendations to support business growth. You will have the opportunity to work with members of Macquarie's senior management, in a non-hierarchical, merit-based workplace.

Your focus will be to provide recommendations on the setting of FTP rates and other charging frameworks and advising on the value of market issuance opportunities as they arise. This role would suit someone with strong analytical and numerical skills and who enjoys solving complex problems and partnering with business areas to align business and funding opportunities. In this role you will also be responsible for developing models and analysis that will assist other senior management decision making.

To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrable experience working in a highly numerate / analytical position with the ability to understand and interpret complex data. You will also have a strong understanding of transfer pricing and/or treasury issues. In return you will be part of an innovative team with visibility to senior management and get an opportunity to develop your career and skills within our global environment.
