Allied Caterers Limited is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 24 countries. We are seeking to recruit a passionate, skilled and highly motivated individual to join the team in the capacity of Finance Analyst.

Our Finance team plays an important role in delivering value to the business with strong financial support and liaising with internal clients to implement strategy and initiatives.
The Finance Analyst will assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of timely and accurate financial information and analysis to support the decision-making process of the Executive Management team which meets the group reporting requirements.
What else will you do?
Financial Reporting:
* Coordinate the month-end close off process as per Company guidelines
* Prepare draft monthly financial statements and reports including GCG Management Accounts, Consol Pack, P&L Tracker and KPI Reports
* Preparation of ALL month end schedules to support the Financial Statement
* Preparation of the monthly Bank Reconciliations
* Preparation of adjusting general ledger journals including but not limited to: Accruals, Prepayments, Reallocations etc
* Preparation of the audited Financial Statements with note according Accounting Standards - IAS and IFRS
* Execution of the Year End Closure Routines (roll over balance and retained earnings)
Statutory Requirement:
* Calculation of the monthly and quarterly Corporation Taxation, Business Levy and Green Fund liabilities
* Calculation of the monthly VAT liability
* Preparation of the Corporation Tax and VAT Returns
* Monthly reconciliation of the VAT and Corporation Tax Schedules
* Ensure all statutory and payroll deductions payments are made on time
* Preparation of the Tax Pack for year-end Financial Reporting
Qualifications and Experience needed:
* A first Degree in Finance or
* Completed Level lll ACCA
* 3 years' experience in a similar position inclusive of Supervisory experience
Skills and other attributes desired:
Technical
* Advance level user of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong understanding and knowledge of Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Reconciliations, Taxation and Financial Statement Preparation
* Good working knowledge of International Accounting Standards
* Requires an extensive knowledge of business and an excellent command of the English language
