Finance Analyst

Our client, an internationally recognised, market leading FTSE 100 company are looking to source a highly driven and ambitious Finance Analyst to join their ever-growing finance team. This highly visible role involves supporting the Finance Manager to produce and maintain detailed sales models for the business area. The company have an excellent track record of offering excellent career progression within an exciting, dynamic working environment.
Responsibilities of the role:
-Produce regular reporting on trading in advance of weekly meetings
-Model complex, large quantities of data into succinct reporting outputs suitable for finance and non-finance colleagues
-Work closely with other commercial finance functions to obtain latest capacities and translate into distribution models
-Responsible for the analysis of e-commerce and retail websites and differentiation between business products
-Assist the Finance Manager in making recommendations to the business on the basis of your analysis
-Support the Finance Manager in ensuring clear targets are in place and modelled for the 5 year strategic planning cycle
-Responsible for calculating the net costs of distribution across all channels, with understanding of variables that affect it
-Support production of monthly operational KPIs for main board and distribution packs
What we are looking for:
-Strong academic background with good A-level results and a 2:1 degree or above from a reputable university
-ACCA/CIMA Part qualified or finalist level (Ideally first time passes to date) and expecting to complete qualification within 12-18 months
-Candidates will have experience in a large/blue chip organisation (Retail/Leisure highly desirable)
-Presentation skills and confident in building relationships with business partners
