Our client based in Gloucester is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their niche company.
The successful candidate must be part CIMA/ACCA qualified as a minimum.
The role will involve working closely with the Head of Finance whilst having responsibility for the financial analysis of the company's portfolio.
You will also be responsible for reviewing actual results against the company budgets and forecasts whilst providing accurate and timely reporting to key senior stakeholders as well as Financial Analysis of key company projects
Key Tasks:
  • Produce analysis of key variances to budget and forecast versus actual cost of sales
  • Ensure accurate cost of sales within the company's key systems
  • Analysis of direct cost base and identifying areas for improvement
  • Support the Head of Finance in the preparation of Monthly Management reports
  • Monthly brand P&L creation, review and reporting
  • Report on the success of key marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Developing and improving the companies costing, inventory and planning systems
  • Regular cross departmental reviews to feedback results of analysis
You must have proven financial analysis and forecasting ability, be self motivated and possess an analytical and methodical approach to work.
The ability to work under pressure and plan/prioritise workload is essential along with strong leadership skills to motivate and support a team.
Salary: circa £40,000 per annum - pro rata if part time
