Our clients' Chilled Convenience Foods are looking for a Management Accountant to be based at their head office in Barway, Cambs. What are the responsibilities of the Management Accountant?

- Providing relevant and timely financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis.

- Reviewing risks and opportunities against the budget

- Full involvement in the annual budget setting process

- Control all capital expenditure through procedure and follow up. Report on return on capital achieved.

- Working with the chilled convenience teams to verify cost saving initiatives.

- Development and upkeep of account procedures manual.

- Stock trend analysis

- Involvement and lead in improvement projects

- Cash and balance sheet forecasting

What do they look for in a Management Accountant?

- Detail-oriented and very strong organisational skills

- Thrives in a fast paced environment and have a passion for business development

- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills; have the ability to communicate concerns and issues in a diplomatic manner that does not offend or escalate

- Treats sensitive or confidential information in a trustworthy manner

- Strong and comprehensive finance experience

- Qualified in or studying CIMA/ACCA
