Planning Manager (finance into buying and merchandising) opportunity for a rapidly growing omni-channel retailer based in the City. Reporting directly to the Finance Director (Trading) you will lead 1 Analyst and be the key business partner to the Head of Planning and the Merchandising Director.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
·Own the product category forecast and integrate it into the total business sales and margin model·Maintain the top level company WSSI·Coordinate the provision of sales and margin targets ·Provide weekly commercial insight into trading, margin performance & business stock position·Work with the SLT on strategic plan and budget·Work with the B&M team to continuously improve the analysis and understanding of what is driving performance·Stock reporting, monthly and periodic forecastingWe are looking for:
·Deep Retail/FMCG commercial finance skills set·Ideally direct experience of partnering with a B&M function·Knowledge of WSSI, stock planning, and margin analysis·Be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)·Evidence of business partnering at a senior level, with a down to earth but strong and confident approach ·Be a team player, highly commercial and have demonstrable organisational and analytical skills·Seek creative methods to resolve issues and will be energetic and self motivatedTrace is an innovative recruitment consultancy.
