This role will be reporting into the Group MD and have the responsibility of attending and reporting to Board level meetings.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Improving the budgeting, forecasting and reporting process in order to produce accurate and efficient detailed report to the centralised reporting centre
- Challenge the Marketing and Sales teams continuously to drive and improve their performance.
- Manage and lead the current finance function in a way that develops and enhances their knowledge and progression.
- Preparation and analysis of financial and accounting statements whilst maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement processes in order to increase efficiency and identify current processes and procedures that need improving or modifying.
- Provide monthly reports on the PNL that are effective and adhere to the corporate deadlines of the group.
- Provide a monthly insight into the P&L that highlights key areas of development or areas that need attention and provide suggested actions that will improve the controlling process and allow areas to develop.
- Perpetrations of tax returns and meeting the requirements of HMRC.
- Produce and maintain budget but comparing the budgeted costs against the actual costs.
- Analyse business trends against the actuals to predict future revenues and costs.
- The candidate will have a recognised accounting qualification ACA, CIMA, ACCA
- Be a super user of SAP
- Be advance in Excel and Microsoft packages
- Have 10 years finance experience
- Experience of working in the FMCG industry
- Have the ability to interact across all levels and build strong long term relationships
