Commercial Finance Manager - Slough
£60,000 - £70,000 per annum plus £6k Car plus 30% Bonus plus Excellent Benefits
Our client, a global force and market leading organisation going through a period of sustained growth, is looking for a driven and talented Commercial Finance Manager.
The main purpose of the role is to provide collaborative financial and analytical support to the Sales, Marketing and other departments within the business. You will support the construction and delivery of financial targets. You will own the forecasting of account net revenue and margin performance and the financial stewardship of customer investment plan.
Other Responsibilities
- Work with Sales to monitor and forecast detailed Tailor-made promotional pricing plans for clients
- Work to improve core commercial finance processes
- Produce ad hoc commercial project viability studies
- Preparation of month end actuals and co-ordinate the preparation of the commercial reports
- Highlight future performance concerns and opportunities to account teams and to Sales and Finance Leadership Teams. Take an active role in planning commercial activities required to remediate any gaps to target
- Line Manage the Revenue Support Analysts within the channel of responsibility, providing direction, support and developmental coaching as necessary
- Pre and Post promotional evaluation in place for all key promotions
- Monitor marketing budgets and spend to ensure accurate postings. Review spend across brands to assess return on investment
The successful candidate will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant and a strong Academic background. You will have previous experience doing a similar role within a well-established organisation and strong commercial awareness. Previous experience of business partnering in a cross functional environment gained within FMCG or Retail would be desirable. You will be able to challenge the status quo, influence and challenge decisions at a senior management level.
You will also be a self-starter who uses their initiative and can work independently with little supervision.
