Head Of Finance

My client is an exciting and diverse charity seeking to appoint a new Head of Finance to be based on the outskirts of Exeter. You will be a Qualified Accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of the non-profit/community benefit society sector and accounting for a charity. You will possess a strong track record of leading a team of financial professionals and colleagues with the ability to drive forward change often in very challenging circumstances. In addition you will have a strong understanding of IT and its potential for the organisation. Specific duties will include:

• Contributing to the Trust's business development strategies
• Provision of financial forecasts, budgets and KPIs
• Monthly management accounts, KPI reports
• Monitoring and reporting of above to CEO, Board and senior management
• Management and delivery of the day to day financial support service, through Senior Accountant and Finance Team
• Statutory annual and quarterly accounts, VAT returns, etc.
• Payroll and pensions administration
• Management and development of Senior Accountant and Finance Team
• Oversee ICT function and systems through the IT Manager
• Maintenance of Finance & IT Risk Register and Disaster Recovery Plan
