Divisional Management Accountant

Are you CIMA or ACCA qualified with management accounts experience, ideally gained within an FMCG or Manufacturing environment?

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a business based in South Norfolk, on a permanent basis.

My client is a leading supplier of FMCG products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and FMCG sectors. With ambitious plans for the future, there hasn’t been a more exciting time to join.

Purpose of the Role:

This role is an integral part of the finance function with accountability for management reporting, forecasting and budgeting.

Reporting into the site Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will act as a key business partner to Senior finance as well as working closely across the wider business and operational teams.

Other Key Responsibilities will include:

• Weekly and Monthly reporting and accompanying financial and operational commentary
• Preparing budgets and forecasts and working with the operational teams, supporting cost analysis / project analysis and contributing across the monthly management meetings
• Leading and coaching the broader Finance Team to ensure they work to optimum performance levels and standards
  
  

What we are looking for:

To be successful as the Management Accountant in this business, you will need to have experience of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment. The role requires someone that is CIMA or ACCA qualified preferred or passed finalist and it is essential that you have an excellent working knowledge of Excel.

You will have experience of working cross functionally and be confident in communicating complex financial data in a variety of ways.
