We have a new opportunity for a permanent Finance Manager job based in the Wrexham area. This Company is a very well-established business with a turnover in the region of £10m to £15m making good yearly profit. Our Client is looking for either a qualified or qualified by experienced Finance Manager/Controller who can manage and develop a small accounts function. This role will be the number 1 in finance reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Job role
  • Full production and review of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts with commentary to t Senior Directors
  • Budgeting & forecasting and trend analysis
  • Strong cash management
  • Company accounting duties to include VAT submissions, corporation tax adhering to current legislation
  • Preparation of yearly audit & submissions onto the external accountants
  • Overseeing the monthly payroll, purchase ledger and credit control functions
  • Ad hoc trend analysis and scenario planning around
  • Continual process improvement to ensure financial controls are in-line with UK accounting standards
  • Ad hoc reporting for the management team
  • Enhancing systems and procedures

Skills/Experience
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Qualified by Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Staff management of a small finance team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot & looks ups)
  • Ability to challenge where necessary and understand the bigger picture

Salary/Benefits
  • £40,000 to £48,000 per annum
