Audit Manager

Our client is a global engineering company with manufacturing sites across Europe and the USA supplying complex metal assemblies into the aerospace, automotive and power generation industries.

They are currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their Review & Analysis team which provides the Board with assurance that effective controls are in place to manage risk within the organisation.

Principle Accountabilities:

Planning and completion of audit assignmentsLiaison with local, divisional and corporate managementDocumentation of work and testing undertakenAgreement of findings with local and divisional management and holding of exit meetingsConsider and advise on the company wide implications of audit findingsRecommend improvements to the control environmentAssist with forthcoming group wide compliance initiativesCandidates will be suitably qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent non UK qualification) with 5 years PQE, be willing to travel globally for periods of 1- 4 weeks and have audit experience gained within a manufacturing environment.

The role is Midlands based with travel so ideally you will live within 50 miles of Derby, you will not be required to go into an office very day.

As a guide base salaries are in a band from £50 - 55,000 per year depending on experience plus car allowance and attractive management bonus scheme - in total it's around £70/75k.
