Finance Director (AX) - Northampton £80K
My client are an international precision manufacturing company established in over 80 countries with a history of successful business growth spanning more than 60 years. As a forward thinking, innovative business, my client are always researching new ways to improve company performance.
In recent years they developed a new method of packaging and recycling materials, resulting in quicker dispatch times and increased environmental friendliness.
Currently needing to recruit due to natural growth my client is in need of an experienced Finance Director to join their UK team based in Northampton.
Responsibilities within this position are outlined below;
*Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance.
*Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
*Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
*Managing financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
*Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
*Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, banks, and legal/government organisations.
*End-to-end process manager (PTP purchase to pay, OTC order to cash, RTR record to report).
*Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
*Implementing an integrated cost accounting enabling management insight into business processes and company data.
*Supervising a team of 6 team members.
*Updating knowledge of changes in financial regulations and legislation, and ensuring compliance.
To be considered for this position candidates should have the following experience / skills:
*Bachelor degree in finance or accounting
*Candidates will ideally have career history progressing through finance based roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
*Have demonstrable experience leading a small team within large corporation, or divisional environment.
*Experienced in ERP solution Dynamics AX 2009 or AX2012
*Auditing background highly preferable.
*Candidates must hold accountancy qualifications e.g (CIMA or ACCA etc)
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*AX modular expertise in one of or combination of; financials, AR, AP, GL - desirable.
