I am currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a rapidly growing and profitable services company based in Crewe. The company has ambitious strategic plans to grow further in the future and you will be joining at an exciting time.

Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties will include:

Preparation and review of monthly management accounts from trial balance to financial statements. This includes ratio analysis, posting journals/accruals and commentary of KPIs.Comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, including accrued income, expense schedules, fixed asset reporting & intercompany balance reconciliation's Engaging with international counterparts as a Business PartnerComparing actual performance to budgetsManagement of European cash flow process. Preparation and review of direct and indirect tax submissions to the relevant authority.Assistance with the year-end statutory audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing all necessary documentation and evidence.Develop and implement strong controls and procedures within the finance area, providing a strong base for the continued rapid growth of the businessAssist in production of annual forecasting & half year re-forecastingSupporting the Assistant Financial Controller with one-off technical practical assignments and ad-hoc projectsConsistently and accurately meeting internal and external deadlinesManagement and development of one direct reportHelping to pass on your experience and knowledge to other staff members, thus maintaining the continuing ethos of the company to improve and promote within

Qualifications:

Finalist or newly-qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA accountantEducated to degree level, minimum 2:1

Experience

·Strong technical accounting skills

·Advanced Excel skills - including experience of creating and using Pivot Tables and V-Look Up

·Strong written and verbal communication skills

·Experience of interacting across all levels of the organisation including dealing with non-finance people to gather relevant information

·Experience of fostering strong working relationships within the finance team and across the organisation.

·Excellent attention to detail

·Show an impressive attitude and not only take full responsibility for their duties but are enthusiastic to take on new challenges which will develop their own career.
