Jenson Fisher have been engaged on an exclusive basis by a reputable and long established business based in the heart of Dundee to recruit a Company Accountant on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Directors of the business, the role of Company Accountant is to oversee all financial matters within the company whilst ensuring that reporting deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have previous experience occupying a similar role within a prosperous SME and will have experience using Sage and Microsoft Excel.
As the Company Accountant your responsibilities will include;
To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in an extremely varied role. You will lead and manage a small team who handle accounts processing within the business therefore the ability to delegate is essential. You will ideally have previous experience using Sage although this is not essential so long as you have previous experience using financial software.

- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Producing cashflow projections.
- Preparation of HMRC returns.
- Management of the company bank accounts.
- Preparation and processing of company payroll.
- Management of company petty cash.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Production of National Statistic returns.
- Credit card reconciliations.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
