Assistant Management Accountant

Reed Accountancy have pleasure in working with a leading Wholesale business based in Chelmsford who are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Management Accountant. This role will be reporting in to the Finance Manager.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and growing company and will suit somebody who is used to working in a fast paced environment.Duties will include:Assisting with the production of company management accountsAssisting with the production of branch management accounts for multiple branchesAssisting with the preparation of annual accounts file for auditManagement & reconciliation of accruals and prepaymentsPreparation & posting journalsPosting nominal transactionsAssistance in preparing company and branch financial budgetsVariance analysis between actual costs & budgetBank Reconciliations & controlsOther ad-hoc duties as required by managementThis role will suit someone with a strong accounting background ideally studying ACCA/ CIMA.Previous experience using Sage 200 is preferred but not essential.Parking is available.Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business
