Job Description
- Ensure that products resonate with current and potential customers, by continuously monitoring marketing trends and keeping close eye on competitive product in the marketplace
- Responsible, not only for executing market campaigns, but also managing, developing and driving market growth
- Focus on marketing activities products and increase their popularity among target consumers, while also gaining market shares
- Take some of less popular products and focus on building a favourable, and positive image in the public eye, using creative marketing techniques to bring it up to acceptable level
- In the face of stiff competition, focus on differentiating company from all other competitors and also make company products a preferred choice in the market
- Build brand equity of the company's line of products with the help of cross-functional teams like market research, advertising, public relations and sales, in order to develop integrated positioning strategies to ensure maximum brand exposure for the company
- In-depth consumer analysis to determine the overall demand of the company's products, liaising with marketing to create promotional tactics that will boost brand image, review and analyze sales results of the products to determine future product-developments and business opportunities for the brand
- Keep the marketing team involved of brand vision, overseeing subordinates to ensure that strategies are executed properly
- Keep up with the growing complexity of business, and stay informed of ongoing technological advances in the field of marketing
Qualification and Requirements
- A minimum of a degree is required
- At least 5-7 years work experience
Skills Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft office suites
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, productions etc
- Conversant with the sales and distribution environment, and good knowledge of the pharmaceutical and/or the FMCG industry
- Very good interpersonal relationship skill, and effective in dealing with people and colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure without supervision
- Strong ability to network
