about the company

My client is one of the world's leading services company. As APAC HQ, Hong Kong's office has always been the driving force for various different business initiatives. Due to the urgent business needs, they are now looking for a Regional Financial Analyst to join them and to be responsible for 1 of their 4 business units. This role will start off as a contractor as the Business Finance Manager liaises with the HQ on the headcount approval, and will be converted to a permanent role as soon as the approval comes.

about the role

Reporting to the Business Finance Manager, you will be a key person in taking up the financial and business analysis duties for one of the four businesses in the APAC area. Apart from working on the budget, forecast and financial analysis for the BU, you will be working with the BU heads and decision makers in providing financial insights towards potential projects. This means that you will need to be demonstrating excellent business acumen, and to identify and present the viability and potential returns (ROI) on the projects, especially on a regional perspective.

skills and experience required

• 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience with a MNC, ideally from the services industry
• A strong business partner with the ability to articulate the finds and results of the analysis, while working closely with senior management on project feasibility analysis, budget, forecast, and performance evaluations
• Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese
• A person who likes changes and thriving in a dynamic environment
• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or other relevant disciplines
