Head of Finance

The role is to be the Head of Finance for a real estate fund with significant capital available to invest in specialist government-supported accommodation. The business area is growing and we expect AUM within it to double, which will also allow the appointee to step up into a Finance Directorship for the business area. Key responsibilities include:

· Implementing and developing financial controls and processes that are appropriate for the business

· Preparation of monthly and quarterly, consolidated management accounts for all the fee and promote earning companies

· Presentation of monthly and quarterly management accounts to divisional and group management including explanation of variances against budget and KPI's

· Participate and contribute to Senior Management and Board Meetings

· Supervise audit and filing of annual statutory accounts

· Managing the relationship with Investors on all financial aspects of the business

· Supervise the team to produce an annual budget and monthly update of the financial forecast

· Management of short and long term cashflow

· Management of debt and banking relationships

· Management and development of a small accounting team

Essential requirement

The appointee will be a qualified accountant who is currently the Financial Controller or Finance Director of a private equity or private equity real estate fund.
