Project Accountant

Our client, a leading multinational IT business based in Cork, is seeking a Project Accountant for a 12 month contract. The business has a flat organisational structure and therefore encourages their people to influence decision making and make an impact on the business so they're looking for someone who is interested and curious about the organisation. Ireland forms a global hub for this business and they encourage internal opportunity and progression locally and internationally within the organisation. The role in question will be quite varied but will broadly include the following: Payroll/Treasury/ Policy review Expenses analysis Fraud - technical analysis Commissions analysis Systems/ Process analysis Continuity planning Project Management Assist in the annual audit planning process, taking responsibility for executing the internal audit plan Determine, assess and rank key controls and risks Design audit tests and prepare audit programmes Develop audit findings, agree findings with management. Ideal candidate must have excellent time management, high attention to detail and strong knowledge of technical standards. Hardworking, detailed oriented and results focused.
