The Senior Management Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and will take responsibility for the Management Accounts of a key division within the business. You will also have line management responsibility for one Assistant Accountant.

Description

Key Objectives 

  • Manage one direct report at Assistant Accountant level
  • Management accounts production/analysis for your business unit
  • Oversee Invoicing & payroll for operations within your business unit
  • Complying with reporting requirements to the relevant authorities/bodies, preparing BAS and payroll tax returns, quarterly super returns
  • Profit & Loss analysis v budget
  • Treasury management
  • Intercompany recharges & reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations and payments
  • Provide support/assistance to the Finance Manager

    • Production of the management accounts to agreed timescales
    • Liaison with Managers/Directors to ensure full understanding of the numbers
