Financial Reporting Accountant | Funds

Our client, a leading global fund management company with a large footprint in Ireland, is looking to hire a part qualified accountant for their financial reporting team. Ideally suited to a technically minded accounting person who enjoys interpreting financial statements and applying reporting standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage the financial reporting process for assigned  portfolio of clients from planning, financial statement preparation and review, audit management & oversight, financial statement comment review and processing through to Board approval and filing. Manage the preparation and review of audited annual and interim financial statements in accordance with standard operating procedure and relevant working guides and in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g. Irish, IFRS, UK, US, other GAAP) and the relevant regulatory disclosure requirements (e.g. UCITS, AIFMD, Transparency Directive). Review annual and interim financial statements as appropriate to ensure a quality product is produced for manager and senior manager review. Maintain and develop relationships with your clients, external auditors, outsourced providers, external printers and other internal departments. Key Requirements: Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) having a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in a similar environment or coming from a practice background. Have a thorough understanding of accounting principles together with an awareness of all current technical issues.
