The Financial Accountant will undertake key responsibilities in the finance team.
Client Details
A well established and market leading business based in South Birmingham is now looking to recruit a Financial Accountant for a period of 10 months.
Description
As the Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance team and work closely with the Financial Controller.
Day to day responsibilities will include;
- Completing the quarterly VAT returns
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
- Maintaining and documenting all financial processes
- Assisting in the preparation of month end accounts up to trial balance
- Monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet
- Posting cash receipts
- Assisting with the cash allocations
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Assisting with financial analysis as and when required
Profile
- A Part Qualified Accountant
- A proven track record of working in a complex business
- The ability to communicate with non finance stakeholders
- Proactive and pragmatic approach
