Management Accountant

Our client is looking for a Management Accountant to come and join the team on a 11 month FTC covering maternity.

Description

• management of Nominal and Purchase ledger functions

• creating monthly management accounts with variances and comments to tight timetable for two trading companies

• control accounts and supporting accounting information

• support and review of spend versus budgets and forecasts for each of the department managers

• preparation of quarterly and year end packs to Group timetable

• assist with audit queries and manage the smooth running of the annual audit

• preparation of key analysis to support the tax computations

• expense management control

• preparation of vat returns including Making Tax Digital implementation in July 2019

• supporting the credit control team as and when required

Profile

• Good level of excel skill to build detailed reports and improve management information

• Excellent communicator working with all the business teams and supporting company objectives

• Hands on with pragmatic approach and adapting to rapid change in these growing businesses
