Job Description – ACCA –IC1 Career Level

As part of the Global Accounting Operations within Oracle’s Global Controllers organization, the candidate’s responsibilities will include:
1. Working on US GAAP close related accounting activities
2. Quarterly Reporting and analytics for External Reporting
3. Risk mitigation and control through regular validation of Balance Sheet accounts and their balances
4. Support various audit requirements, including US GAAP Group audit,  Statutory, Internal and SOX audits
5. Work with Finance Directors / controllers across the globe on various close / reporting related requirements
6. Actively participate in various global projects, including testing of new versions of Oracle ERP
Responsibilities:
• Supporting Controllership of US GAAP activities, including month close, balance sheet reconciliations & reporting requirements;
• Supporting Controllership of Statutory audit obligations by preparing schedules as required by auditors & supporting other compliance requirements;
• Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives;
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal global stakeholders including Finance Directors, Controllers, Payroll, Tax and Treasury to mitigate risk to the enterprise;
• Contribute to the execution of key Global strategic initiatives & projects.
Qualifications:                                                                                                                                                        
• Qualified ACCA with 1 to 2 years of experience (preferred)
• Working knowledge of MS Office tools like Excel, Power point
• Good communication skills
• Exposure to Oracle Financials and/or other ERP solutions is an advantage
