Salary Dependant on Experience

My client is an independent chartered accountant situated in Leeds City Centre seeking an Audit Senior to join the team. You will be responsible forensuring that the accounts and financial statements issued by a company are accurate and compliant.

Duties of the Audit Senior: -
  • Carrying out audits of companies from budgets/planning through to finalisation
  • Planning and designing the audit approach
  • Testing the company’s internal financial controls and evaluating the company’s recording of transactions
  • Analysing or testing a company’s financial records to ensure that the numbers add up
  • Understand the company’s industry, regulators, accounting policies, objectives and strategies, and business risks before commencing the audit
  • Producing an auditor’s report

Skills & Experience Required: -

To be considered for this role you must be either qualified or qualified by experience with practice exposure completing audits from start to finish. You will be aware of all accounting principles and processes and be able to oversee work of junior members of the team.
