Description

As the Head of Management Accounting you will:

• Lead a Function of 5 colleagues, during a period of rapid change to deliver organisational, process and system change.
• Produce accurate, timely and insightful management information, focussing on the production of the monthly management reporting for the Executive Management Board and Group Executive Board. Ensuring compliance with Internal and Group Timetables.
• To manage the co-ordination and consolidation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
• To consolidate financial data and management information from various sources, which will include Finance Business Partners and Cost Centre Managers.
• To lead the Operational Audit team and to develop the operational audit strategy

Profile

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

High level business accounting skills and experience

Ability to produce high level reports for business use and decision making

Independent and logical decision making skills

Proven experience of Internal Customer service delivery - understanding the Customer needs and implementation of service satisfaction measures

Audit experience or previous experience managing an internal or operational audit function

Proven experience of managing tight reporting deadlines.

Proven experience of leading teams and managing interfaces within a multi-functional working environment
