Position Overview:
The Financial Controller will lead the Financial Control function to sustain a strong accounts & control environment, continuously improve process & system performance and to provide financial expertise to business operations. The ability to set clear directions, embrace new ways of working and develop talents are as critical as strong technical capabilities. 

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the accounting & control function with responsibility for financial accounting, risk management & controls, process performance and credit management
• Establish a high performance team culture and develop a strong talent pool to strengthen the succession pipeline
• Evaluate and strengthen accounting and control processes & procedures and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
• Provide financial analysis and reports to business operations to support achieving financial goals
• Deliver sustainable, high quality results and continuously improve delivery lead-times

Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for a proven finance leader – professionally qualified (ACCA/CA/CPA/ICMA or equivalent) with significant experience as the head of a financial control function, ideally gained in a multinational environment.   Sound knowledge of accounting concepts (including IFRS), finance processes & internal controls (eg. COSO) is a given. Arab speakers are preferred for this role.

Candidates should possess strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to influence and manage conflict and experience in managing a diverse team.  A results driven approach and capability to embrace and drive change to continuously improve process and system performance is essential to be successful in this position.
