Financial Accountant - Year End

We are looking for an immediately available Financial Accountant who is experienced with year end accounting and has used Sage 50 Professional. You will be working in a role for 2-3 months to assist with closing accounts and liaising with auditors.

Client Details

My client are a prestigious private medical company who provide specialist services and treatment to patients. They are based in Marylebone with fantastic new modern offices. You will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller working in a team of 5.

Description

In this role you will solely be responsible for:

• Opening up the year end accounts in Sage 50 Professional
• Ensuring invoices are correct
• Making sure all documentation is accounted for
• VAT reconciliations
• Tracking the audit trail against the nominal codes
• Data collection and analysis
• Dealing with P11D's
• Creating file of documentation to present to external auditors
• Liaising with external auditors and HMRC
• Making sure debits & credits are correct
• Balancing codes in Sage

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience in Sage 50 Professional
• Be in the final stages of their ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Have fantastic attention to detail
• Be experience in a similar role
• Have experience with closing year end accounts
• Have liaised with external parties
• Have strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills

Job Offer

This is a 2 month temporary role to assist the client with closing the year end accounts.

£20-25 per hour dependent on experience
