Escape's client, a leading international organisation with subsidiaries across the UK are on the market for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their local team to support the site financial control.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you would be responsible for:

Monthly cost tracking and profitability analysis on all ongoing contracts
Forecast and budgeting responsibilities
WIP Analysis
Month end financial reporting
KPI analysis and presentation to management
Preparation of the monthly management accounts
Assisting with statutory accounts ensuring SOX compliance
Adhoc duties as required

Candidate Requirements

Part Qualified and actively studying towards professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CA)
Proven track record within a similar accounting role, ideally gained within a project/job costing/manufacturing related environment
Previous experience reporting under IFRS / SOX standards
Ability to work towards deadlines with minimum supervision
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
