Description
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, your duties will include, however are not limited to: Manage the business planning process for the retail elements of the P&L, Provide financial leadership in the setting of planning assumptions and presentation of analysis, Create accurate forecasts for regional sales, rebates and other significant retail P&L lines.,Develop and maintain the Cognos planning models, forecasting methodology and input templates, Manage the interlock process with Trading Finance, Develop customer profitability analysis, Partner with the retail team to tackle issues and drive action, supporting the development of profit improvement plans and holding the team accountable for delivery, Support the business development process, Provide analytical support in the evaluation and prioritisation of other commercial opportunities, making recommendations for improvements and helping drive profitable sales growth and Support and or lead other retail and finance projects as needed.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked as an Analyst/Management Accountant previously
- Have strong excel knowledge
- Be confident to act as a business partner within a national organisation
- Be able to produce finance reports to non-finance people
