Management Accountant 1st Time Mover

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working on an exclusive basis with a large PLC business with global operations and well-renowned brand. This role of Management Accountant will be based at their head office location in Chesterfield and is easily accessible being close to the motorway.The purpose of the role will be to assist the Financial Director in the timely production of a Monthly Management Accounts pack as well as looking at the commercial operations and entities of the business to continually improve performance.Duties will include:-- To produce monthly management accounts in an accurate and timely manner- Management of statutory accounting and reporting - Performing variance and commercial analysis- Hold meetings with internal stakeholders in order to gather relevant information for the accounting pack - To help oversee the day to day operation of the accounts department including AP and AR- Continually review systems and processesTo be successful for this role you MUST have the following skills and attributes:-- ACA/ ACCA Qualified- At least 3-5 years experience within the profession looking to make their 1st move into industry - Good technical accounting skills - Strong user of IT and good knowledge of accounting packages This role is a fantastic opportunity for a first time mover to gain exposure in a fast paced industry business and develop into a more commercial role whilst still using the skills gained within practice.
