Finance Analyst Edinburgh Permanent - Full time Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + Benefits Change Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a prestigious, rapidly growing FMCG business based in Edinburgh. Due to internal promotion they have a requirement for an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join their highly regarded finance function. This role would suit someone who is studying towards their ACCA / CIMA, is confident in dealing with the manipulation and analysis of high volumes of data and has a solid accountancy background. Key Accountabilities / Tasks:> Verifying the accuracy of the monthly charges > Ensure that settlement data issues are identified, escalated and resolved in a timely manner and payments processed within terms> Reconcile charges at a SPID level to identify any under or over charging and working with the Data Team to ensure that any issues identified are resolved> Support the Finance Business Partner in preparing budgets, forecasts and business plan analysis> Support the Finance Business Partner prepare the month end numbers for income and cost of sales, GP reporting including actual versus budget/forecast analysis and price/volume variance analysis with associated commentary> Proactively monitor unbilled income, taking responsibility for preparing consolidated billing reconciliations for payment in advance, in line with business timetables and ensure full payment in advance processes are tracked in the relevant systems> Support the business in identifying opportunities for enhancing revenue> Training/educating other team members on reconciliations where required> Enhancing the reconciliations process where required> Balance sheets and statutory reporting activities as requiredKey Experience / Skills required:> Sound analytical background with ability to manipulate and analyse data > High attention to detail > Skilled in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Formulas, Macros etc) > Ability to work in a fast paced environment > A positive attitude with strong teamwork skills> Strong communication skills both verbal and written To apply, please click on the link below.
