Assistant Management AccountantTrafford £25,000- £30,000I am currently supporting a nationwide logistics business who have successfully merged with an American conglomerate early this year.After opening their newly refurbished office within the Trafford area which is close to public transport links and local amenities, the main purpose for this role is to support the Financial controller in the implementation of the new system and produce timely and accurate management accounts to a strict deadline of 4 days.The ideal candidate would be at least CIMA/ACCA Part qualified and have 2-3 years' experience working and producing management accounts to. SAP system experience is an essential attribute as you will be expected to provide training to others.Other duties include:* Assist in the accurate reporting of business costs and variance analysis.* Assist with the production of interim and year end audit packs.* VAT and supporting accruals budget process and variance analysis* Developing and improving current controls* To undertake such other ad hoc projectsWith this being a key appointment to the business my client is looking to interview the best on the market, you must be an over achiever with the motivation and appetite to achieve the best possible results. Team work is key for this client so you must be able to communicate well both written and verbally and liaise with different heads of department who may not be from a financial background.
