Accountant

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an up and coming Part Qualified Accountant to join the finance team in a FMCG company.

Based in Sydney's Inner Western Suburbs, the Part Qualified Accountant's main duties will be to manage the month end process for the agricultural side of the business.

The core responsibilities for the Part Qualified Accountant include:

• General Ledger reconciliations
• Preparation of month end reports
• Profit & Loss, Commentary and variance analysis
• Assist in preparation if budgets
• Assisting in auditing processes
• Provide process improvement and drive efficiencies
• Preparing BAS levy returns, royalties and other legislative requirements
• Ad-hoc financial support and requests.

The right person for the role will have:

• 3 - 5 years experience in an Accounting role (exposure to management accounting is a plus)
• Part or nearly qualified CPA/CA
• Exceptional written and spoken English
• Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Netsuite is desirable but not essential
• Big 4 first time movers will be highly regarded
• Previous experience in FMCG industry is highly desirable
