As a Tax Manager - Compliance and Advisory you will work on a great mix of both complex private client advisory and compliance work within the tax team.

You will be given the opportunity to grow your advisory experience, whilst working on a variety of different industries and entities including company directors and entrepreneurs.

Description

As a Tax Manager - Compliance and Advisory your responsibilities will include:

  • A mix of both advisory and compliance work
  • Regularly attend client meetings and networking events
  • Support junior staff members and assist the team coaching and appraisals
  • Be a part of the development of the firm's MTD proposition
  • Direct involvement with key high net worth clients
  • Advise client with planning opportunities and tax efficiency of investments
  • Expand and build your network and generate leads for the Private Client team
  • Profile

    As a Successful Tax Manager - Compliance and Advisory, you will have:

  • CTA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong compliance and advisory experience
  • Experience working with a strong private client portfolio
  • Strong knowledge of tax law and concepts
  • Excellent client focus and ability to build rapport
  • Excellent communication with third parties including clients
  • Ability to identify and work alongside the Partners for business development opportunities
  • Ability to identify tax lead opportunities with new and existing clients and potential risks
  • Strong attention to detail, good numerical and grammar skills
  • Competent using Excel and Microsoft outlook
  • Knowledge of CCH personal tax
