The Job
Responsible to consolidate and analyze the monthly financial results, annual budget and identify the root reasons for the significant variances between actual and budget/forecast and formulate action plans
Gather data from departments, update periodic reports, analyze data, identify risks and opportunities to highlight to management
Ensure accurate & timely closure of accounts
Preparation of monthly management reports and analysis of variances
Perform billings and reconciliations (including inter-companies accounts)
Process payment and vendor invoices
GST return and income tax computation
Budget and forecast
Prepare information for the smooth completion of audit
Any other ad-hoc projects
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or pursuing ACCA
Experience in SAP and Cognos would be an advantage
Retail mall experience is highly preferred
Good numerical and communication skills
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Self-motivated and have a commercially forward-looking mindset
