Management Accountant

Macildowie Recruitment is currently recruiting exclusively for a Management Accountant to join an SME business based on the edge of the city of Leicester. They are dynamic fast paced business who have been growing and expanding over the last 5 years. Due to growth and an internal move they need to add to their team to continue with the expansion. Based at the firms head office the role is commutable distance from all areas of Leicestershire / Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and CoventryReporting to the Financial Controller the Management Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of the company monthly management accounting activities and also supporting the business with making well informed business decisions. The role will also cover financial analysis, fixed and variable cost review, fixed assets, Vat and preparing year end accounts This is a great opportunity for a candidate who already has exposure to month end and financial accounting and who is looking to gain more analytical exposure whilst continuing to develop your broad accounting skills. It is essential that you have excellent communications skills and great sense of humour to fit in with this business as they are all about their employees and having a great place to work for their staff. The client will consider candidate who are both none qualified or actively studying for either CIMA or ACCA.The clients offer a salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 plus a generous benefits package.
