Financial Analyst

Cooper Lomaz have an exciting role for a Financial Analyst to join our market leading employer of choice in the Peterborough area. As a result of an internal promotion the team are seeking an inquisitive and highly analytical candidate to provide detailed insight on operational performance, specifically relating to Sales & Marketing costs. The role will see the Financial Analyst working closely with key business stakeholders across the group to understand variances, revenues and costs. Key responsibilities of the role will include: - Preparation of weekly and monthly reporting to understand business volumes & revenue streams - Business partner with commercial teams to identify operational issues and create efficiencies - Analyse and provide commentary on relevant balances - Understand revenue stream performance working with relevant Accounts Payable departments The successful candidate will ideally be a part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or will be looking to begin studying a formal qualification. Candidates will demonstrate good commercial awareness and an analytical mind to understand the key drivers within the business unit, whilst having the communication skills to work across the business.
