Tax Director/Partner Designate

This successful medium sized Firm of Chartered Accountants firm are looking to recruit a qualified Tax Professional to work on a key portfolio of clients and lead the tax function. Package is negotiable based on experience, but a competitive offer will be made to a candidate that my client feels can add value to the firm, with excellent future prospects.

My client would ideally like to hire at director level with equity available following good performance.

However, applications from individuals at partner level currently with a fee following will also be considered.

You will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of clients covering OMBs and larger corporations, including company directors, partnerships and private/ high net worth individuals. The work will be client facing and be a combination of planning and advisory assignments and control of the compliance function including supervising and reviewing the work of the tax team who handle both direct and indirect tax.

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant or tax professional ACA/ACCA/CTA or an experienced Tax Manager and will need to have previous experience working in/managing the tax department of a practice. You will ideally have a combination of corporate/business tax and private client experience, or will have depth of experience in one of these areas.
