My well established client based in Bedford is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team.Your responsibilities will include:* Purchase Ledger* Dealing with supplier queries* Supplier statement reconciliations* Petty cash* Bank reconciliations* Balance sheet reconciliations* Online banking* Assisting in the production of the management pack * Preparing and posting fixed asset depreciation, prepayments, accruals and payroll journals* VAT and ECSL returnsYou will be actively studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA with relevant working experience. You will also be a confident communicator with a strong working knowledge of Excel. Previous experience using Sage line 50 is beneficial but not a necessity.
