FP&A Analyst

Supporting a business function, this role will be accountable for the provision of monthly financial reporting including presentation of month end results, key business metrics and analysis of annual and monthly budget/forecasts to management.

Description

As the FP&A Analyst you will be responsible for the following:

• Reconciliation of monthly GAAP earnings and management/performance earnings
  
• Calculate and present monthly management reports to local management for the area of the business to which assigned
  
• Report monthly variance analysis to the US headquarters
  
• Supporting one or more business areas in the preparation of the annual budget and interim financial outlook
  
• Analysis and presentation of capital expenditures and controllable costs for one of more business areas
  
• Provide pro-active and comprehensive business analysis, financial advice and performance measurement to the leadership team and their direct reports, to support decision making and to evaluate and optimise business plans, strategies and objectives
  
• Provide functional expertise and guidance in support of economic evaluations, including reviewing white papers
  
• Assist in any adhoc projects or requests as and when required
  

Profile

To be considered for this FP&A Analyst position you must have the following:

• Strong financial and analytical background (essntial)
• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA (essential)
• Strong excel skills (essential)
• SAP experience (highly desirable)
• Oil & Gas industry experience (highly desirable)

Job Offer

£35,000 - £45,000 + study support + bonus + benefits
