Accounts Payable Operational Leader required, Permanent Your new companyHays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a global engineering company in Stockton where there is a fantastic new opportunity for an Accounts Payable Operational Leader to join their team on a permanent basis.The company operate globally and offer development opportunities within a forward thinking and diverse, empowering environment.Your new roleIn the role of Accounts Payable Operational Leader, you will be responsible for the management of a team of up to two Accounts Payable leaders, overseeing a team of approximately 17, including three supervisors. You will play a key part in the strategically support and implementation of productivity measures and manage to ensure that invoices are paid on time. You will support the Accounts Director with strategic projects and improvements, management of the balance sheet reconciliations as well as managing the accounts payable improvements and day to day operational concerns for Accounts Payable.The role will offer the opportunity to work within the UK and European operations and room for progression.Salary Package will range from £45,000 - £52,000 + an excellent benefits package.What you'll need to succeedYou will have extensive experience within Accounts Payable as well as proven management skills in an shared service centre environment or a large PLC accounts function with previous responsibility for a large accounts payable team.You will ideally be AAT or part qualified ACCA or CIMA or hold an accounting qualification.
