The client are a large property management company, with properties based across the UK. Their office is based in South West London (Piccadilly Circus), and they are looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team. The role is very progressive and is offering study support.

The client are a large property & construction company, that manage a number of large properties based across the UK. The team are looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis, as the previous Accounts Assistant has recently been promoted. There is lots of progression available within the role, and they are looking to train someone and develop them through the company. The role is based in South West London (Piccadilly Circus) and the working hours are 9.30 - 5.30.
Description
The successful Accounts Assistant will be:
- Processing Purchase Invoices, Staff Expenses and credit card transactions
- Preparing payment runs
- Dealing with supplier statement queries
- Reviewing of the Purchase Ledger
- Processing and reviewing sales invoices on Sage 50
- Credit Notes
- Maintenance and reconcliation of the Purchase Ledger
- Daily cash postings
- Ad hoc help
- Assisting the Financial Controller and Management Accountant with the month-end and year-end processes
Profile
The successful Accounts Assistant will:
- Have a university degree in Accounting and Finance (or a Mathematical based subject) // Or be studying their AAT
- Be confident
- Be eager to pursue a career in Accounting and Finance
- Have excellent communication skills
- Sage 50 experience (desirable, not essential)
- Anything up to 1 year experience
